How the Process Works
1. Before We Get Serious, Let's Do a Quick Speed Date.
To start, I need to get to know you, your goals, and if I would even be a good fit for your business. A quick 10-20 minute phone call is all it takes to make sure this relationship will last.
2. Channeling The Muses.
Once we decide to go forward with building your site, we find the story we want your site to tell and get a feel for its aesthetic. I'll then consult the Muses, and design a mock-up of your new site and make sure everything is perfect in their eyes... and yours.
3. Pulling Up the Hoodie.
Once the design is approved, we begin the easy part, at least for you, building your site. This is where I put on a black hoodie, sunglasses, and start coding away. After everything is built, a test version of the site will be shown for any last minute edits before deploying.
4. Uploading Your Site to the Matrix.
Finally, it's time to change the reality of the internet and upload your site to your domain. Once your site is uploaded, I'll provide guides on how to run your site.
How My Pricing Works.
I do my pricing differently than most freelancers and agencies. It's called Value Pricing, and I charge based on the value that the site will bring to your business. This is why it's better:
1. More Transparency on Price
You're paying me for a website that will help you grow your business, not how long I spend building your site. Since I don't charge by the hour, you'll know from the beginning how much everything is going to cost.
2. Faster Results
Since we're not focusing on the hours that I work , I can get your site done as soon as possible. This model has allowed me to find efficiency gains in my workflow to get you the results you need fast.
3. Better Tailored to the Size of Your Business
There is a big difference between the type of work you do for a larger businesses website compared to smaller businesses. The type of applications and integrations that go into a larger scale site aren't exactly what you need for a smaller business. The price we agree upon will be based on the value we predict an effective website will bring your business.
